Slack is the primary way most teams interact with their Handlers. It's designed to meet you where you already work — kick off tasks, get updates, and handle escalations without ever switching contexts.
Just as importantly, Slack lets your team collaborate with Handlers without every team member needing their own Handle account. If a Handler has been shared with your workspace, anyone can interact with it right from Slack.
There are two ways to get a conversation going with your Handler in Slack:
Mention @Handle in any channel where the Handle app is present to start a new conversation thread.
Once confirmed, Handle responds in the thread and you'll receive a link to view the conversation in the Handle app.
If someone @mentions Handle in a thread where a conversation already exists, it won't create a duplicate — the existing conversation continues seamlessly.
Send a message directly to the Handle app to start a private conversation.
