Most Handlers have in their utilities the ability to search for content, crawl websites and answer questions based on web resources.

✉️ Email communications

Every Handler you create has its own email address. This allows you to use Handlers to:

1. Coordinate with external stakeholders over email
2. Set up agentic automations that start with email notifications
3. Process documents received over email - see below.

Handlers can start 👥 Group DMs, reach out to #️⃣ Channels, and even create several personalised messages to individuals from a single task.

📎 Document processing

Handlers can process documents received as attachments in email or slack messages.

Document support includes:

• PDFs
• Word documents
• Excel documents
• CSV files

This list doesn’t include cloud-hosted documents (such as Google docs) which are supported through their respective integrations.

🖼️ Image processing

Much like documents, Handlers are highly capable at understanding images. Handle’s custom tools can process hundreds or even thousands of images in parallel, allowing you to process large image sets with incredible efficiency.
